My family has a tradition where for a baby's first birthday, we give them their own cake and let them have at it. We had Gavin's cakesmash on Mother's Day. Even though it felt like Gavin's special day, R&G went all out for me. They got me some super pretty roses, and lots of goodies besides.

I LOVE Gavin's anime face. He just looks so happy!
I agree with Carrie. It looks like he's a contender for The Happiest Baby Ever. My favorite is the one where he's discovered the Oreo, when he has the HUGE eyes. It's like he's thinking, "Best. Day. EVER!!!"

Oh yowza, he really went to town! I love the expression of sheer glee on his face in a few of those. I sure hope Simon can follow suit. Addie was so dainty and lame with her first cake- no fun at all.
