When we went to Sea World, we stopped in one of the gift shops. Gavin saw a display of stuffed animal dolphins and instantly fell in love! He grabbed one by the nose and was giving it tons of kisses and was just so, so happy!
We convinced him to say good-bye to the dolphin and he was so sweet about it. He didn't cry or throw a fit; he just gave it a cute little wave and we were on our way.
After we left the gift shop, we decided that it would be too much fun to go back and buy the dolphin without Gavin seeing it, and film his reaction when we gave it to him. I think he was happy about his new friend. What do you think?

We were at least 10 feet away from the dolphin display in the gift shop and when he saw them his face lit up and he started pointing and talking about them, and he was so happy to pull one off the shelf. Pure jubilation! We couldn't help but go back and buy it.
And yeah, he said goodbye to it. Either he doesn't yet know how to use tantrums as a negotiation tactic, or he's just too, too sweet!!!
I saw the anime face in there a couple of times, so it must really have been a big hit! He's so stinkin' cute!
Also, Robbie, you laugh just like Dad. To me, realizing that was even more fun than watching the Boy with the dolphin friend, but I don't know why. It just was.
Oh my goodness. I want to go buy him something he'll really like just to see him like it so much!
Oh that was FABULOUS! I must get that dolphin for Simon now. It obviously has magical powers that elicit optimal cuteness.
So cute! I've been a blog slacker, so it was fun to catch up on all your happenings. Have to say I love the emo post. :)
Hello,
I came across your blog and was very intrigued. I just had a couple of questions, so if you could e-mail me back that would be great! Thank you for your time.
